Aftermath Inc.

Privacy Policy

Last updated 10 October 2026.

1. Who we are

Aftermath Inc. ("the game") is an iOS game published by STACKX AB, organisation number 559598-7313, Tybblegatan 94C, 702 19 Örebro, Sweden ("we"). We are the data controller for the processing described here. Contact: hej@stackx.se.

2. What stays on your device

Your company save, your settings and the list of things you have bought are stored only on your iPhone. The game has no account system, and we do not receive or store your progress on our servers. Deleting the game deletes this data. Purchases can be restored from the App Store with the same Apple ID.

3. In-app purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your name, Apple ID or payment details. The game checks Apple's signed receipt on your device to unlock what you bought.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game is free to download and shows ads from Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC). To serve, measure and cap ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the game may collect:

  • your IP address, which is used to estimate your approximate location;
  • device and app information, such as model, iOS version, language and app version;
  • device identifiers: the identifier for vendors (IDFV), and the advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking;
  • ad interactions, such as which ads were shown and tapped;
  • diagnostic data, such as crash and performance information.

Google processes this data under its own policies: Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

5. Your choices

  • Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland). Before any ad is requested, the game shows Google's consent form, where you can accept or refuse personalised ads and the processing of your data by Google and its ad partners. You can change your choice at any time under Settings → Privacy choices in the game.
  • Tracking (all countries). iOS asks whether the game may track you. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", the advertising identifier is not shared and the ads you see are less personalised. You can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Fewer ads. Any purchase in the in-game store turns off the automatic ads between days and jobs. Rewarded ads only play when you choose to watch one.

Our legal basis is your consent for personalised ads where consent is required, and our legitimate interest in funding a free game for non-personalised ads, frequency capping and fraud prevention.

6. What we collect ourselves

We do not run our own analytics or servers for the game. If you email us, we use your email address and message to answer you and keep the conversation for as long as the support case needs it, at most 24 months (legitimate interest).

7. Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Transfers outside the EU

Google may process data outside the EU/EEA, for example in the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because the game itself only keeps data on your device, requests about advertising data are best made to Google, for example through My Ad Center. You are always welcome to contact us at hej@stackx.se. You can also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
