Frequently asked questions
Is the scan safe to run on our website?
Yes. It only reads what is already public, like an ordinary visitor, and makes a handful of requests. Only scan websites you own or are allowed to check.
How is it different from a penetration test?
The scan finds common, visible problems in seconds. In a penetration test a security expert actively tries to get past the defences and chain weaknesses together.
Do we need technical skills ourselves?
No. Reports come with a plain summary, and Secvra can talk directly to your web agency or IT supplier about the fixes.
